I just crack one open and leave it on my boss's desk.

My current boss is FAR too uptight for that poop. Won't be my boss for much longer though, thank goodness.

You work in a more conservative work place than H20.

I've never been fired.

I've simply asked to be reassigned. I can't work for this woman anymore.

Definitely, but that won't be the case in the playoffs. We have 3 lines that can score but lines 1 and 2 will see 18-20 minutes while Eller's line will see 12-14. Imo Ryder belongs on top 2 lines while Gio doesn't.
- God_then_kovy

How come? Why would they all of a sudden change how they distribute the ice time when it's been working so well?

"Oh it's the playoffs let's change our approach because what we did to get here clearly isn't what will help us win!" Doesn't strike me as a good idea.

Ryder with Plekanec was working "so well" and they still split them. Why not split Plekanec and captain hustle? I doubt it will happen...but simply saying that Ryder deserves top minutes more than Gio.

Because Plekanec plays other team's top line, and Ryder is far from the best defensively. He dropped the ball against the Caps. Bourque and Gionta are pretty good defensively, and are better suited for such a matchup.

Good point. Ryder has improved defensively though as he was doing fine in that aspect of the game with Plekanec. I just don't want to see Ryder's minutes go down when he's our best goal scorer.

Or maybe it's because Bourque brings more to the team when on Plek's line and Ryder can simply play on any line and still produce ?

I do like your point.

If Ryder on 3rd lines means more minutes for Galchenyuk and Eller then everyone benefits i guess. They looked good yesterday.

They won't go down , he'll get the same 5on5 time as Therrien pretty much rolls his lines, and he's still getting PP time with Plekanec and Gionta as displayed yesterday.
