I'm not sure but I think Therrien tries to give the top 3 lines more or less the same amount of minutes... Eller played 15 minutes, Desharnais played 15 minutes, Plekanec played 16 minutes, the 4th line played 13 minutes except for Prust who spent some time in the box.
Granted, he had that luxury last night considering the game was so one sided, but I'm thinking he'll try to do that as much as possible. - Pecafan Fan
Definitely, but that won't be the case in the playoffs. We have 3 lines that can score but lines 1 and 2 will see 18-20 minutes while Eller's line will see 12-14. Imo Ryder belongs on top 2 lines while Gio doesn't. |

I'd say i prefer Therrien to do his line juggling experiments right now than in the playoffs.

So once the playoffs start then the lines should remain static? |

Probably not.
But much like he did when they called up Pateryn, Tinordi and Beaulieu, he probably wants to see/evaluate what he can get out of what he's got under his hand. |

Galchenyuk/Eller/Ryder seemed to work fine last night. Or am I dreaming? - Pecafan Fan
Yup. Habs have three balanced lines and a 4th checking line that can have defensive duties. |
