Oh yes the reading comprehension retort, it feels like an Augello thread already and it is not even noon.

I don't feel like that should have come with a "just kidding" disclaimer.

Apparently I was wrong.

it is, but let them have their fun. The bay street bullies are the most feared team in the league until they get swept in the first round.

I agree that it is entirely possible Toronto gets ushered out in 4-5 games.

I don't even know what you were "joking" about, I just love the reading comprehension retorts that happen every other page in the leaf thread.

In my opinion, that is the likely matchup.

Assuming Montreal plays .500 hockey (seems reasonable based on their remaining games), Boston needs to be 5-2 or better to win the division. That's easier said than done based on the B's schedule.

EDIT: "or better" may be incorrect. I think Boston needs 9 pts if Montreal plays .500 hockey. 4-2-1 would do.

Montreal going 3-3-1 gives them 7 points, Boston needs 1 more point than them. 4-2-1 gives them the division lead.

But I agree. It's more likely than not that we face the Bruins. Hopefully they go completely cold.

A polar bear is much more ferocious than a brown bear.

Do you even think before you post this crap?

And besides, Winnie the Pooh was from Ontario. We know who he is cheering for.

i'd say it's 50-50. neither team seems to want the division. guess they both want to play the Leafs lol.

No, no, no.

They are both scared of playing the Leafs.

I don't blame Boston. We beat them once this year.

So we are clearly trending upwards.
