Soooooooooo.... any of you guys would like to re-open that discussion about Price being Vezina worthy ?
- Pecafan Fan

Wouldn't you rather start a Desharnais/Eller debate ?

and Jets. Hope last Leafs game is meaningless for standings.

Montreal has Boston's number, while the Leafs have Montreal's number.

The Leafs are good, and this annoys me greatly.

- _nay_

I don't disagree that the Leafs are better than in years past, but I don't think they're good enough to win a playoff series vs. Montreal or Boston...just my opinion. I realize some people will disagree.

I think so, but Beaulieu stilll scares me in the defensive zone.
- God_then_kovy

Depends on the role. Tinordi could probably handle the physical aspect better.

Yes.

Chara alone makes that statement ridiculous imo.

You'd rather play Boston than Toronto? Seriously?

Leafs beat Habs. Habs beat Bruins. Bruins beat Leafs.

that would be ideal
- God_then_kovy

pretty good chance it happens if Habs go 5-2 down stretch.

assuming Habs can beat Isles or Rage that is..

As a Leaf fan, I'd feel a lot more confident playing Montreal than Boston.

Just sayin'.

If I were a Leaf fan, I would too.

won't matter - Diaz will be back.
- AGalchenyuk27

And after that you're 100% guaranteed Habs defenseman will be injury free for the rest of the year?

Yes. Physical teams tend to do better in the playoffs.

(frank) Boston...

but at least if you lose to them, you lose to a team that's renowned as being a good team...the leafs on the other hand, I don't think I could stomach losing a playoff series to them...

The biggest concern for the habs in the playoffs would be Beaulieu/Drewiske in the defensive zone. They could get exposed over a long series.

I still don't think Montreal is a good enough team to say "x team is not good enough to win against the Habs".

Is he better/more useful than Tinordi ?
- BashCH

Over a season yes. Playoffs no.

Refs put their whistles away in the playoffs every year no reason that will change this year. Beaulieu is good at PP and creating offense.

Tinordi can take the punishment of a 7 game series better I'm thinking
