Indeed. I like the way they match up against the Bs better than the Leafs. No real reason other than a gut thing.

It was 2-1.

I wouldn't put much stock in game 1 of the season, when both teams were really rusty, and really bad.

- 3M

we lost 3 of 4 - they have our number I would say and 2 games were Habs were completely dominated in all aspects.

My boss' wife never talks about hockey.

This morning, she has been asking me non-stop about last saturday's game.

Please, I just don't want to talk about it.

I don't disagree. But they have a hard time making room for themselves against the bigger teams.
- Pie

The biggest concern for the habs in the playoffs would be Beaulieu/Drewiske in the defensive zone. They could get exposed over a long series.

As a Leaf fan, I'd feel a lot more confident playing Montreal than Boston.

Just sayin'.

Honestly though Habs are decent but they're not miles ahead of anyone. It wouldn't surprise me if they ended up 7th or 8th over 82 games.
- Pie

Thank god this one is only 48.
And we WILL finish 2nd

*fingers crossed*

Montreal has Boston's number, while the Leafs have Montreal's number.

The Leafs are good, and this annoys me greatly.

- _nay_

Would you fear the Leafs more than the Bruins in the playoffs? Regular season number don't mean much once the dance starts.

Therrien will announce that around 11:30 am RT @MichelleeeL717: @Dave_Stubbs who gets the start in net tonight?

Understandable, Carey had a long night on Saturday...

As you should. And we'd feel more confident playing Toronto than Boston in the playoffs. They're still the toughest team in the division.

Montreal has a good defense, and good goaltending, but they've clearly had trouble controlling the Leafs this year... mainly because, unlike with other teams, Toronto doesn't take too many breaks against the Habs. They play hard from puck drop to the final whistle.

I agree and I don't mind either of them. Its good for them to get experience but if they have to rely on Boullion to get them out of messes they will get burned. He had one of his poorest games Sat. night and looked out of it by the end.

I think so, but Beaulieu stilll scares me in the defensive zone.

Yes. The numbers don't mean much, but momentum does.

Although Bergeron's absence changes everything.

I would rather see them beat each other up and 1 get knocked out early. If we meet up later on in 2nd or 3rd round fine.
