we don't match up physically with Leafs - terrible matchup. Wish we had got Sestito. - AGalchenyuk27
Its true, its similar to the Bs, they can't get sucked into playing the Leafs game |

I don't see it happening. Nothing about their lineup lends itself to think that they'll have any sort of success. - 3M
I disagree, they've got some talent up front and with Lupul back that increases. There D is slow but they take up a lot of ice and Reimer has been solid. If Kadri/Kessel played for MTL, fans would be cranking them up. |

3-1 vs Habs - I want to avoid them until later on other than the old time hype reason. - AGalchenyuk27
Meh. Montreal was sleeping in the 6-0 game, and Price poop the bed on Saturday. I doubt they'll be sleeping or have bed-poopting by their goalie for 4 games in the playoffs. And if they do, it wouldn't matter if they played Toronto or anybody else. |

2 guys in top 15 in scoring, Size and toughness. If they get any goaltending at all they could do some damage. |

Montreal has had success historically against Boston because they DON'T try to play Boston's style. |

exactly, thats my point though, Toronto and Boston have had success lately because they can physically force MTL to play their game. |

They have a solid team, but in a 7 game series their D would have hard time containing Montreal's depth and speed up front imo. If they manage to constantly hit our defenseman and keep the puck deep in our zone then it would a different story. But Montreal is tough to beat when they keep posession of the puck. |

Honestly though Habs are decent but they're not miles ahead of anyone. It wouldn't surprise me if they ended up 7th or 8th over 82 games. |

Thing is, if you play a skill, speed game, Leafs have JVR, Kessel, Kadri, and Lupul up front, who are better offensively than any Hab(statistically speaking, anyways).
With Lupul healthy, the Leafs have 2 lines that are very hard to shut down.

It was 2-1.
I wouldn't put much stock in game 1 of the season, when both teams were really rusty, and really bad. |

I don't disagree. But they have a hard time making room for themselves against the bigger teams. |

Montreal has Boston's number, while the Leafs have Montreal's number.
The Leafs are good, and this annoys me greatly. |
