Rockford needed to win last nite and Pirri was the best player on the ice.

Not true.
Ben Smith was one of the few guys in Rockford that played the full 60 minutes. He also had a hat trick. Pirri was really kind of sloppy, like the rest of the team for about the first ten minutes. Bad passing, bad positioning and the team started the game flat footed for the most part.
Kyle Beach must have blown the cobwebs off his lunchbox and found his brain in there. He actually looked like he knew what he was doing out there last night and I thought he played a solid game.
Good ol' Rusty actually did something other than just float around on the ice looking for scoring opportunities. The guy actually tried using his body to finish checks and got into corner battles. It wasn't a pretty sight, 'cause he looked like he was swingin' a purse every time he attempted to finish his checks. I give him an A for effort, but a D for actual results in that department. Otherwise, Rusty did his thing and chipped in on the scoresheet.
Clendening is a tough little sh1t. He took on two Canuck Junior Divers at once in a fight during a brawl late in the third. Nordstrom also isn't afraid to get rough either.
Danault & McNeill were both scratched and at the autograph table last night.
In all, it was nice to see the 'Hogs rip the Canuck Junior Diving Team of Rosemont apart. Even if Rockford doesn't make the playoffs, at least they put a big dent in the Wolves playoff hopes.
