Problem with officiating is the two official band system. Each half of the ice are called as two separate games and lacks continuity.

Agreed. Not a fan of the "company man" version of Foley but he is infinitely preferably to the clown Redmond. He and Daniels make a pair that sounds like nails on a chalkboard.

1. Sloppy play by the Hawks
2. Desperate play by the Wings
3. Too many Hawk penalties
4. Selective vision by the Refs
5. Jimmy Howard having a great game

Nope. That's about the gist of it. I think mostly it's Wings are desperate, Hawks are not and looking toward playoffs. I honestly don't mind so much... these last games don't matter so much except seeding and I almost think they'd be better off without home ice. (half joking..)

Agreed, I don't expect much from 'em this year. Shame because I think Ventura could be a good fit once he properly figures out how to be a manager, but I'm worried he gets a scapegoat firing this year.
