There probably were a lot of people doing that. Ott has the city clinging to his nuts, not me though. I mean, hes an effective player, but for the Sabres, its not what we need. And by no means should the guy ever be a captain. With the crap he pulls on the ice? No way.

The only real difference from our team last year to this year (besides some 4th line changes that dont have any impact on the team) was trading Roy for Ott.

We suddenly became the most penalized team in the league, we suddenly became the worst penalty kill team in the league, and we suddenly became the worst powerplay. Not to mention we went from middle of the road in puck possession to dead last. Now, I'm not saying Steve Ott is the reason for ALL of these things happening, but giving up a skill player like Roy for a player like Ott was a huge part of it.

I think the Dead Wing held Stalberg's stick and sold it. Old, old trick--that worked. Kind of like Miller moving into any "falling" over Zeus' stick.

According to #Blackhawks, because of LeBlanc's age (23) all they could offer a contract through end of this season. He is RFA this summer.
