I honestly don't get the obsession with a guy who has no experience coaching at even the AHL level. There's a difference between coaching boys and coaching men, and Patrick Roy has yet to even try that. There have to be better options out there.

Never said he needed tons of experience, just some. Hiring Roy is doing the same thing as hiring Ruff, only at the opposite end of the "bad idea" spectrum.

Again. Coaching boys versus Coaching Men. It's apples and oranges. It's the same reason most college football/basketball coaches don't end up being very good professional coaches, and vice versa. It's not about their ability as a player or even their demeanor. It's about the ability to get through to a different group of people.
