With the ice surfaces being so different, and the games in Europe being so soft, compared to NA hockey, in every league. Hard to tell unless you see the player a lot.

I understand the hesitation. I would take Mac over Bark but I wouldn't be the least bit upset with either. I wouldn't even be that upset with Drouin, I just think it is so close we should pick BPA for an organizational need. Being that Mac is a right shooting C that many scouts seem to think will be better suited as a RW in the NHL, he would be the best fit for us. A guy with great skating skills and dynamic offensive abilities that has flexibilty to play either 1 of 2 of our greatest needs... Mac is my man.

Carolina like Colorado should not be tanking like this with the teams they have. Although Colorado seems to have turned it around a little. The only team allowed to tank is Calgary.
