Havnt heard anything, but I wouldnt put it past him. He seems frustrated with the way the ownership or upper management group are dealing with this franchise.

I've been pretty impressed by T.J. Brodie these last two Canucks-Flames games. He seems like one of the few bright spots on this team.

What would he be mad about? They're letting him make trades and bring in young kids... it's not like he's handcuffed or anything.

Same things Butter was mad about. Decisions aren't really completely his and the unreal expectations overshadow everything.

I'm hearing a lot of Flames fans saying to move up and get 2 top 5 picks. With 3 firsts it may be possible. I remember 3 years ago a lot of Oiler fans talking about trading up and getting both Hall and Seguin. They tried, but I think it's tougher than most realize.

If Calgary ends up with say picks 3, 20, 29 in the first, then 33(their second rounder), would Flames fans be up for trading picks 20,29 and 33 to move up to 5-6th?

MacKinnon and Nurse (or Zadorov) would be a huge start to the rebuild.

I would be okay to trade up as long as its a top 7 pick. In a deep draft like this I think we can use all three picks to pick up quality players. That being said, the idea of getting a top center and a top d-man in the first few picks is very tempting

I think the only way we have even a whiff of getting another top 10 pick is packaging up one of our later 1sts & taking on a huge salary dump from an underachieving cap maxed team. Even if we can get a 9th or 10th overall pick by doing that, then trade that pick & the St Louis pick for that top 5 pick. gree it sounds fantastic but the reality of getting it done is well............
