On a side note did anyone else love seeing Marchand get elbowed last night? You almost feel bad saying it, but then you dont.

I would like to Tropp it like its hot..

Tropper is probably better in the AHL for the rest of the season. No use him stressing on his knee in meaningless games up here

One of those guys you hate but love when he is on your team. I'd love to see Gerbe drop the gloves against him.

My guess is this team shys away from contact (besides Ott and Kaleta).

Think they might be more worried about matching up to the Habs 5 lines.

Really? Goes to show you either dont watch many games or dont understand the value both of those guys bring to the team.

Kaleta while one of the most hated players in the league would get picked up by atleast a dozen teams. Also one of the best pkers we have

Scott is needed on the ice. The team plays more physical and more determined when he is in the lineup. Edit Especially when you have a team full of kids there needs to be someone there to show that he has their backs

- Stripes77

I understand their role, but to me it's still overpaying a hometown guy just to make others feel good. And I know penalty kill is necessary, but when you take the whole package into account and the roster spots being taken up, I just see he'd be a better borderline Amerk-Sabre--call up as needed. Try to compare him to other team's 4th liners like Ryan Jones, Bernier, Rupp,etc--it just seems we could do better. Just like we could do better than Weber and Sekera, but I'm sure we'll keep them all around too long like most others...

And John Scott has a role too, but in a shortened season and down the stretch, I don't think he should play every night. I'd rather we work on team toughness as a whole, rather than 1 big bully and a silly agitator that means well, but I'm sure we could get more offense and less distractions than a guy that barely defends his own play... There's also other guys on the team that can kill penalties.

hahahahaha Phaneuf has been without question a top 10 defensemen this year. Give your head a shake. I didn't look through it but was the other ppg Kessel? Haha (frank)ing idiot sabres fan. Enjoy the moderate draft pick

Didn't everyone know, booing was created by Buffalo fans 2 weeks ago and Buffalo fans are the only fans in the history of sports entertainment to boo their team. This has just gotten ridiculous, thanks for the advice to the fans to be classy Garth, I'm sure the fans will follow your lead. We can all learn something from Winnipeg??? Did you ever see/attend their games from 93-95????? Fans don't need to be a robotic fanatic every game, every season. To question the support and loyalty of Buffalo fans is ridiculous because we all know it's there. I think you're more of a fan when you realize the teams core and management has worned out its welcome as oppose to a fan than to forgets to take the price tag off your new jersey and thinks Nathan Gerbe is the greatest player in the league.
- buffalokb

They did such a great job booing that the team left. We can only hope right?

Foligno, Gerbe and Weber like a little bit of contact too.
