He was drafted in the 2nd round in 2010 by the Blue Jackets and not signed. He was undrafted last summer, although he was eligible. Had a huge year for Baie-Comeau in the QMJHL (41-41-82 in 55 GP)

Had a good year in his draft year, averaging over a point per game. But tailed off the next two years, but battled injuries.

If Gordon is playing on the 4th line here, he wouldn't get close to 15 minutes a game. Have to look at all the variables including salary history. No, it doesn't sound good at all. Having Gordon and Hall makes zero sense.
