All you people who wanted to get rid of Bailey and Okposo: SEE!!!

(Points finger at mirror)

Nice shot by Bailey. Isles need to be VERY careful in their own zone and around Nabby.

- Mancalledsting

I'm simply amazed. Bailey has been a beast. And a beast for a while now while the games matter. I hope he keeps it up.

This team is rolling. If they make the playoffs and go into them this hot, anything can happen.

Can someone please explain to me why the Islanders are still in 7th place? Isn't ROW the first tie breaker? We have 17 regulation and OT wins, Ott has 16.

Edit - because I'm an idiot and the first tie breaker is fewest games played.

- kencan98

Technically the Islanders are in sixth but since Ottawa has a game in hand they are above the Islanders. It will take care of itself when everyone play 48 games.

Us either.

Seriously, I'm sure you guys are proud right now. They remind me alot of last year ranger team. Outworking and more willing then every team they play. Been a long time coming and enjoy it. I'm excited to be on the other side of the rivalry renewed and Saturday should a friggin blast

- Slimtj100

First time in years we can truly call this a "rivalry". Both teams about even in the standings, fight for their playoff lives. NVMCis going to be raucous.

Winnipeg is the team that we need to make some space between in the standings.

They are the only team with a good chance to catch us, that is currently not in the playoffs.

They only have 6 games left, and we play them next Saturday.

Another huge game....

Of course....Saturday's game vs. the Rangers is huge.

I would love to see the Rangers fall out of the top 8!!!

I would like to see the top 8 stay how it is going into the playoffs. Isles are playing great hockey at the right time of the season - just hope they keep it going.

It almost seems as if the Isles can't lose ANY remaining games. These other teams aren't falling away. Isles are playing out of their minds right now, (and ours!) and will have to keep this up I think to make it in.

watching the bruins telecast and crazy how much they're complimenting the Isles. Out of that first period:

Nabby looks solid and motivated
Isles got pressured by the Bruins several times but didn't give up many great chances
Isles pressured the Bruins and took the body

end result - are we actually seeing this team play with the Bruins the game after they beat the Flyers? Bizarro land indeed. I'm really enjoying this.

ps, don't get a kitten. These mofo's don't seem to get tired of trying to get behind the tv and chew on wires.

Whistles in pockets... Definitely looked like a penalty on that hit on Nielsen. Gotta tough it out.

Much better this way. The games are faster, more exciting, much more up-and-down action, and more natural, rather than manufactured, momentum swings.

They need 4 wins to lock up a spot - shouldn't be a problem.

I think 54 points gets you in, 56 for a higher than eighth seed. Hats off though, nothing negative from this Rangers fan. Your team looks great lately.

To be honest I am getting scared and worried. I dont want to wake up from this dream. I was at my brothers house last night (4 minutes) ripping Bailey to shreds and he proved me wrong. I am going to continue to rip into guys.

Problem is now I no longer think they are going to lose anymore but feel they can win every game. It is a weird feeling I have but it is true.

Win Saturday we should be able to get in

These last few weeks are going to be awesome. With Winnipeg, NYI's, NYR's and Washington playing well... its going to be a good push for position.

Glad to see the Isles in good position this year'.... Big JT fan.

Nice win boys. Was watching the games with my Islanders friend buddy at the bar last night, I haven't seen him enjoy hockey this much for the last 10 years.
