We've been crap for (now) 4yrs. But the rebuild officialy started at this deadline. As for the Oilers, the rebuild would have had to have started by the deadline prior to Hall being drafted and perhaps sooner.

Began at the start of the season before drafting Hall. Which is why they finished last. Players went down to injury and they just called up AHLers to fill in. Didn't sign any big names or trade for anyone. Management said at the start of that year that was going to be the approach. So I would say officially started Fall of 09.

everybody's a comedian. I watched the Canadiens (70's), Islanders (80's), Flyers (70's) Oilers (80's), Flames, Penguins, Avalanche, etc all win Championships. All had a good/great one two center combo and great goaltending.

Agreed. I think his ceiling is probably second line winger or a 3rd line center. If we can pick up Mackinnon and maybe one more good center prospect this year I think we can be set at center for a while. This teams defence really worries me though..
