I could be wrong, but I seem to recall RC making statements to the press at the end of last season that Grabo was basically one of the teams best/hardest working players.

I would not move him this summer, unless it is part of a package that brings the Leafs a sure upgrade down the middle. So basically not going to happen.

I like Grabo, even though he's having a bit of a bad year. Somtimes the leafs like to jump the gun by getting rid of a good player becuase of one or one and a half bad seasons. Schenn jumps to mind. But its understandable, at least.

I wouldn't trade him if I didn't have to, but at the same time, if we can get a bit of cap space back, then good. I would do whatever it takes to make sure Kadri gets signed again.
Just thinking about him getting moved scares the living (Frank) out me.

now, i dont disagree with carlyle's handling of grabo at all.. but dont use the kessel argument to do it.. its got a bit of weak sauce on it lol

yeah 4 games, i wasnt saying it was a long time, what im saying is that when he was slumping carlyle was doing whatever he could to get him going. tons of PP time, double shifting him, putting kadri on his line, whatever he had to do to get the thrill going.

all im saying is, if grabo got the same treatment, id be he would be doing better now than he is, thats all bruce!

but yeah the kessel slump thing i can see how u read it that way, i was moreso just trying to compare how carlyle "motivates" the player or whatever you wanna call it.

kessel in those games was working hard, he just was getting so unlucky!!

but i think its a mistake, id rather us use him on the wing - hell we have 2 centers on the ice a lot now (since the linesmen cant drop the (frank)ing puck at a faceoff).

im happy hes got the boys in order and we are winning games, but hell...is there really the need to pretty much ruin grabo?? thats what he's doing...you watch, leafs will trade grabo and give up a prospect in doing so, and the prospect and grabo will flourish, its typical of what happens!

ya gotta admit, we are so hell bent on getting this magical first line center...for what? its not to work, and bozak goes back in? lol its goona happen, leafs aint goona dump bozak, they will pay 4 + for him then we have gbov and bozak and kadri...5+ 4 +3.5 and we still dont have our #1 center. lol, i can see it now.
