A few weeks ago: "Why didn't Carlyle pick Grabo in the shootout!!!!!????"

Today: "Oh, yeah."

That was embarrassing. Grabovski didn't even try. Reimer really isn't the problem though; he's only allowing a little over one goal per 3 shots on average, that should be enough to win most of them.

3 out of 4 points though

No way, shoot the puck. Stop with the fancy poop. Get a ton of speed, and shoot the puck.

I haven't had it but I see it's rated highly. I've had two of the top 5 stouts on ratebeer at least. Aphrodisiaque & St Ambroise Oatmeal. Would try all of them if we got them in Ontario. Stouts are very.. samey though. Porters as well. I think once you've had a top end one you've more or less seen all there is to see with the style.

Lundqvist just doesn't move at all in the shoot-out. He's a freakin' wall.

I agree with this. Speed and a quick shot seems to be the most successful method in the shootout. If you can get the goaltender moving a bit before letting off the shot, even better, as the goaltenders movement opens up holes.

Leaf shooters are doing none of these things.

What a game, that was wild!

3/4 points on this home and home will do nicely

now to tag in loops and drop a beatdown on the Habs

That's exactly what I was thinking 3 out of 4 pts from a desperate Rangers is pretty good... they definitely need it more than we do...

So what I gather is

Shooting without scoring = not even trying

Deking without scoring = trying

Shooting and scoring = great pick

Deke with scoring = send that (frank)er to the all-star jam!
