Pucks there but he runs him and takes about 7 strides - it's either charging or attempt to injure from how I seen it. I rewound it a couple times. - Garnie
I thought charging at first but coasts the last bit into him, good hit to me. Better to see Gallagher bounce back up and move on. Best to see Boullion give him a couple of shots to the face. |

I didn't like that he literally launches himself into Gallagher.
Meh, they were obviously frustrated... |

Not really coasting more like he repositioned himself to try and wreck Gallagher. He starts at the hash marks heads a couple strides for the blueline and then makes a B-LINE for him. I bet if you watch it again he almost gets to 10 good strides before he hits him. Stupid and dangerous IMHO - |

Ott was really the only one who showed up. Gerbe was funny. |

And it's the exact hit the league I thought was trying to stop. He's just turning with the puck and Ott blindsides him - I don't get the non call but glad he wasn't hurt. |

He was looking to blow him up no doubt. I would need to see it again but I thought he coasted the last 2-3 yards or so. Either way I'm thinking Ott is in more discomfort this AM than Gallagher. The way Gallagher plays and the size leads me to think he's not going to have a long career. |

Habs played good but the sabres didn't really bring anything ( I stopped watching after the 2nd ) unless the game got better in the 3rd? |

no they let off a bit and gave up a shorty and then cranked it back up and rolled over them. I agree it was as much a poop show by Buffalo than any amazing play by Montreal. They gave MTL way too much time and space. |

I can see the Habs coasting next game after locking a spot up. Therrien will have his hands full to get them prepped for the game. |

Pierre LeBrun @Real_ESPNLeBrun
My favorite stat, 5on5 goals f/a ratio. Chicago 1st at 1.58; Pitt 2nd (1.38); Montreal 3rd (1.37); Anaheim 4th (1.32); Boston 5th (1.26) |

ya looks like he let up later than I thought oh well. I don't honestly have a big problem with it though, at least its shoulder to shoulder-ish. Otts running around trying to get some energy going and he ends up getting slammed in the end. |

Therrien played it right not sending the #1 PP unit out as much giving the energy guys a bit more time etc.. He wasn't looking to exacerbate the situation. |

Agreed. Shows that Gallgher is getting under some teams. I like that he went out of his way to dissuade DD from getting his head handed to him. Good on DD for trying though. |

That was nice both for the checkers who deserve the extra time and the other team. Very fairplay. Gave ice to Beaulieu too. |
