Great ownership equals deep pockets? What does that meAn. Pegula has deep pockets and it gets him two straight years without playoffs. Daniel Snyder has very deep pockets and spent alot,but until he realized he needed a football guy to make decisions ,they did nothing. Pegula has 5 times the money then the Rodney's,they win because of great ownership.they identify the right manager and coaches. Pegula hasn't learned that

The Yankees for example had an Owner who had deep pockets and would buy whatever players that would come along at the time.

They won because they were able to spend on the best players. Hell I could have probably won WS titles with some of those teams.

They will be the next big mistakes by a team, IMO. Im Talking 4MM for 4+ years. I just pray that Buffalo does not do that. Toronto on the other hand. . .

Pegula nearly went bankrupt numerous times. Just because he made billions in oil,does that make him a smart hockey guy.he needs to surround him with trusted hockey people. Not some ken sawyer who calls REGIER a genius. Wow. The genius who at trade deadlines when we were making the playoffs traded for bob corkum,stevebernier,dominik Moore,raffi Torres,and the pathetic list goes on.

Ottawa ran chara out,how did that end up. Myers got injured during lockout,partied for 6 weeks after in Europe. He was immature,didn't have the sabres on him,telling him what to do,because they couldn't. His rookie year will happen again if not better. He will be a very good if not excellent d man
