Attention to detail is way off

They look like garbage this period. Leafs defense looks like the Canadiens circa 1976. Five shots on goal and two goalposts, passing up on shots, how about they stop passing up on shots.

They were better in the last 4 or 5 minutes but that wasn't a good period overall. Yet, if those two goal posts had gone in, it would be a different story.

Yea they played well. One breakdown the whole period results in a GA. Story of the season

Played well is a bit of a stretch. They were kind of sleeping through the period and then completed an awful line change that left Hank out to dry.

True enough, but a shot off the post is still a missed shot, and, not accusing you, but I just don't wanna hear the cliche of "missed by an inch," when hell an inch the other way is a complete miss into the boards.

Bottom line, I believe this is a Toronto team we should beat..in regulation

It was also the two D going after the puck carrier allowing JVR to stand in front of the goal all by himself. MDZ should have stayed home but also the forwards were late getting there to help.

Bold prediction.

Ryan Clowe scores to tie it up 1-1 in the 2nd from Zucc.

They do this a lot, where neither defender is aware of each other and both go into the corner leaving Hank out to dry.

Don't disagree with you but I am saying they have had some chances even though it was far from their best period. If they ratchet up their intensity in the second they should get more chances and the law of averages suggests they'll get some pucks past Reimer. He hasn't been phenomenal by any stretch.

he might get a case of the patrick roy syndrome that every goalie seems to get against us.

They managed seven shots on net in the first period, the Rangers are not shooting enough, period.
