Anything is possible. I could poop gold if tried real hard. But yes the Leafs will make the playoffs and might advance to the Semifinals if the Sens continue to struggle. - tomburton99
Theres pretty much no chance they'll play the Sens first round.. It'll be Boston or the Habs. Toronto will beat MTL but will have a hard time against Boston. Ottawa will be lucky to make the playoffs. |

Richards line was flat outside of Zuccarello. Stepan and Nash have carried this team all season. That needs to change or this team really can't be considered a threat. - MidnightMarauder
Id like to see MZA on the top line, I think he earned to get some shifts. |

The Rangers play a similar game as the buds. You'd think with the King and all that firepower they'd be contenders. - Arctic_AARDVARK
Nash, Stepan and Lundqvist are why they are in 7th right now. Without those three we are in Flames territory. |

Leafs are getting contributions from players other than Kessel and Kadri though. JvR trade has been a success and depth has been provided offensively.
The Rangers don't really have any consistent scorers this season, outside of Stepan and Nash. |

If you had hank, look out Pittsburgh. That's what I say. Hank was the reason we made it so far last year |

Phaneuf? Kessel with Boston, Lupul JVR (by the way, ya think Toronto got the best of that one) They have a few guys and I am sure I've missed a bunch. They are explosive no doubt, but I'd worry about the way they defend. They seem to be in a lot of high scoring games, the playoffs are a different story. I expect a big effort Wednesday night - Blueshirts4ever

Two games in a row, only difference tonight was that they played a decent hockey team. The Canes are a mess and Toronto is actually playoff bound. - MidnightMarauder
Yeah, the game the other was Hank for 2/3's of it...Hank just couldn't duplicate it. I'm confident in this group defensively, its been the most consistent part of their team |

Jvr for schenn was a steal. Philly needed D tho so I can see why they did it - Slimtj100
JVR is so damn streaky. He's been buzzing lately tho |

but you would if luongo had a reasonable contract... - Cooshie
Still not sure. He hasn't been good this year, and he's got a history of disappearing in big games. |

Same, put Callahan with Clowe and Richards. Hagelin seems lost and that is not a good thing. |

You know, if JVR gets consistent, I'll agree. If not... I'm not sure. Schenn happens to be exactly the kind of player we want beside Phaneuf. |

They miss Staal and it shows. Del Zotto is getting too much ice time. |

Kadri has been a huge surprise this year. Grabo has been stuggling. JVR plays well sometimes and is quiet other nights. But yeah Nash man oh man hes a (frank)ing beast for you guys. Good pick up, richards not so much. |

Can't do anything about that until he gets back though, lots of winnable games on the sked though, the Isles and the Devils have tougher ones...plus head to head still with both. Ottawa isn't guaranteed anything here now, lets not just assume we will be 7th or 8th. Don't lose faith Ranger fans...they weren't going to run the table, of all the games they had left, we knew this one was going to be hard to win.... |

i think the Leafs can beat the pens right now.. especially with Crosby out. But a guy like Henrik would put them over the top. Im happy with this team going into the playoffs, but i think the lack of experience will hurt them. |

they need someone like kreider on that line instead of boyle. hagelin chases down the puck, brassard passes, kreider snipes. |
