Wouldn't that be ironic if the Pens end up with Iggy playing with Malkin and Neal playing with Sid? lol
- rival22

Bylsma also said that while Neal isn't making the road trip, he has been feeling better each of the last couple days. that is pretty encouraging

If Iginla, Malkin and Kunitz can develop some chemistry it might turn out to be a blessing in disguise.

Crosby can play with anyone. If that line looks good the rest of the season just throw Crosby with Neal and Dupuis if everyone gets back.

Good call. I could absolutely see this happening.

To be honest this may end up helping Neal out a little bit, watch a few games from a different prospective. Sometimes that gives a player a kick start. Del Zotto's elbow was reckless should have got a game or 2. O well.

Good to hear. I just spent a few minutes searching google and couldn't find anything about Neal every having another concussion, so that is good.

self defense, think how much better off Erik Karlsson would be if he did the same

Letang is on the trip and practiced with the team today. That's a good sign. Hopefully they at least get him back soon.

I'm still debating on going to the game tomorrow. It would be nice to see some semblance of a team play here for a change.

Yeah I don't buy that, King Ranger Shanny Banny doesn't like causing trouble in Rag town. Its cool though hockey is hockey.

when you think of Brendan Shanahan's career, you think of him as a Ranger?

Apples and oranges... Two totally different plays. Cooke was pinning Karlsson on the boards, and Neal was trying to get around Del Zotto. The only thing remotely similar was that they happened in ice hockey and there was a player wearing a Penguin jersey.

when Shanny suspended first time offender Carl Hagelin 3 playoff games last year, I guess he forgot about those 2 years as a Ranger in his 21 year career for a moment.

I guess Shanny thought he was a Penguin when he let Cooke get away with maiming Karlsson earlier in the year though

but, if Karlsson elbows Cooke in the face before he is assaulted, Karlsson is playing right now right?

Cooke is a ninja with pin point accuracy to slice achilles tendons at will. No one would mess with that. Del Zotto's play was dirty, he saw him coming the whole time. Im not complaining im just saying, I like dirty hockey. Stuff happens.

I guess... but that's an odd way of looking at things. If Lemieux two handed Graves first in the '92 playoff series, he wouldn't have had has hand broken.

You're point? We're talking about why the Rangers don't get suspended...

Cooke got 17 games for the hit on McD that you came in here and complained about for 6 months straight.

How many games did Nash get for this leaping elbow to the back of the head?

Funny thing is, you will not find a Pens fan on this board that will say that Cooke's hit on Savard wasn't dirty. At the time though, it wasn't a suspendable offense. Cooke was a cheap shot artist for most of his career, but has changed his ways, and proven he has changed his ways the last season + (74 PIMs over the last 121 games). I understand a troll like you won't accept this, as only trolls think that Cooke intentionally cut karlsson's leg.

Wow Wellwood's skate really turns my stomach. I feel like Matt Cooke should have to pay for that in some way.

hmm last time I checked I wasnt in control of Matt Cooke and did'nt know I had to apologize to another fan for the actions of one guy I have no other relationship to then watching him play on the team I like! And again the last time I checked Im pretty sure we have all said it was a bad hit and we didnt condone what he did, but if I guy can be pardoned for murder and forgive, then Im pretty sure Cooke can...

also I am waiting for an apology from you about how your Coach overreacts and whines...

Not being a homer, but how do you not even list Taylor Hall?

Top ten in the league in less games. Not saying he should win, but I'd nominate him ahead of half of your list.

You gotta make the playoffs though. Same thing with Stamkos... Hall is having a heck of a season though.
