That kind of implys to Vanek if you want to think about it. Not on the same level but its true. I'm not saying Vanek is hurt all the time either (he gets banged up because of where he makes his living) but this year in particular he has missed a lot of games because of the shortend season and the compressed schedule.

I can't see the video but I'm assuming its McNabb. Besides the fact he is hurt and cant get called up he was pretty bad at the beginning of the season (think Myers).

If you noticed the difference between the two times we played Ottawa recently it was all because Scott was dressed. The Saturday before Patty's day Kassian and Neil ran around like fools because they had nobody to be worried about. When we played them on Friday they were kept in check because Big John Scott was dressed.

Not to mention that when he is dressed the team tends to play for physical. I maybe thinking too much about that because I am looking for it but I think its true. I would much rather him sit on the end of the bench then in the press box.

I actually think Scott is a good acquisition for this team . And would be good to have around for a rebuild . He is not a lot of money and would probably be a good influence on all the young players that will be coming up . And will also be good for their Safety
