If players or management do not want fans to boo, then win a playoff series once in a while. we deserve to boo if we want, the product we pay for is not up to par. - sbroads24
For all the booing "fans"
Don't buy the ticket knowing full well bad hockey may happen (especially in a 'bad' year). Unless your the guy who is just waiting for a chance to boo after you have gain enough courage after beer #2

If Ville Leino isnt healthy at the end of the season he CAN NOT be bought out. As much as it makes the most sense for us to buy him out if he is healthy I don't think they would. His cap hit isn't that bad and there needs to be some veterans on this team. I am of course assuming Vanek and or Stafford gets moved - Stripes77
I think his "injury" right now... is just to shut him down from getting further hurt so that they couldn't buy him out at the end of the year.... i think they just wanted to see what he could do after months of rehab on that hip to see if it would be worth it to keep him around another year of rehab to get back out there...
Even though he did look good while here.. I think he only looked good because others around him were playing like crap...
I think pick 4 or 5 is possible, probably not 1-3. But who knows - sbroads24
Well it is a lottery . Who knows just for once maybe the hockey gods will smile on Buffalo and we will get that high pick . It is a rather long shot that we make the playoffs anyway . But for the first time all season I spend more time on the Sabres games when I channel surf.

I myself am not a booer. Although if your a season ticket holder, and the product you have invested your money into is not up to snuff, then who am I to say you shouldn't boo. People aren't happy and they shouldn't be

He needs to finish the season on the active roster. I have heard there was talking to moving him to LTIR. IMO I dont think you can count last year as his fault. He was used wrong from the get go. Trying to convert him to a center was a huge mistake.
He is a puck possesion guy something that stat guys (Like Matt from WGR) love. I wouldnt be to quick to run him out of dodge just yet. I would like to see him play the wing on one of the younger lines, maybe with Grigs and Armia when they are both up here.

I hardly say anything when I attend games but there is indeed a reason people are booing lol. Maybe Ott isn't used to fan passion from his days in Dallas? That sequence that NJ put on that resulted in the Porter penalty was so embarassing as a Sabres fan I was encouraging people to boo from my couch.

Totally agree. Scott will not win the scoring title, but he's actually pretty responsible with the puck, can pass, and kicks a$$. Nice to see him getting at least a semi-regular shift lately.
When McNabb was called up, I really didn't see what everyone was talking about-he seemed unsure of himself and couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with that shot of his. Pysyk looks like Myers in his rookie year. - LandlordTom
McNabb ruins people when he checks them though. That's what I liked most about him.

when healthy a lot of players could still be good players.. but when hurt and still making that kind of money... to me... it just seems like an anchor dragging in the mud of rebuilding this team....

If we just let Scott walk I will be semi upset... I think he has been very good for this team so far for 600k.... he is decent with passing the puck... he knows what he can and cannot do on the ice.. but it sure is nice to have a player like him out there that people just skate away from and are scared to mess up with....
Not to mention the relief and comedy that he must give to keep the locker room calm... his interview bombs are becoming close to legendary. I look for them after every game.

If you noticed the difference between the two times we played Ottawa recently it was all because Scott was dressed. The Saturday before Patty's day Kassian and Neil ran around like fools because they had nobody to be worried about. When we played them on Friday they were kept in check because Big John Scott was dressed.
Not to mention that when he is dressed the team tends to play for physical. I maybe thinking too much about that because I am looking for it but I think its true. I would much rather him sit on the end of the bench then in the press box.
