Didn't think so? I didn't even get a chance to respond Mr. Dee. Is it so hard to write an actually blog with facts? Every blog is filled with errors. How hard is it to do just a little research before doing a blog? You don't like my responses? Just do what I do with some others on here and just ignore it and move on. As far as taking over? I would have no problem starting a game day thread for every game. At least it wouldn't be filled with mistakes and useless info that has nothing to do with Islanders hockey. Tell your wife to get her shat together and everything will be fine

If we beat Philly in regulation that would pretty much bury them. Would be great to knock one of these teams off. One less to worry about.

I have mixed feelings on Rag$/Leafs to be honest. As long as no OT then I dont care who wins. I think if the Isles keep up the strong play, then they can catch the Leafs. Just no 3 point games.

Yeah, this teams strength is being tested every game. Just like the one prior it's huge. They make it through this to the PO's you have to applaud this team.

they gotta *DO* 2 things...

1) make regulation wins worth 3 points
2) make OT longer by at least 5 minutes so the skills competition doesnt decide the playoffs (which it will) OR just play till someone wins...

You are right...Just one of those games where you just need to hope for no OT. Devils getting a point last night pissed me off. They really have no business being in the hunt with all those OT losses. 10!!

Making regulation wins worth 3 points I think is the solution. While I am a fan of the shootout for entertainment purposes, I am a traditionalist in thinking that it has no business deciding a games outcome. Isles have benefitted from the shootout this year but in the end, I kind of wish it never made its way into the NHL.

If they went with three-point games, which I'm not sure is the best solution, then I'd like it to be three points for a regulation or an OT win...and make OT 7 minutes instead of 5. Then two for a shootout win and one for a shootout loss. I'd say none for an OT loss.
