Depends who might come available,
But I think we'd be better off waiting till the following offseason to target some guys
The pickings will be slim this year it looks like
I'd let the kids play next year & have them learn on the job
If guys like Gerbe, Kaleta, Porter, etc play a bigger role to start the season next year I'm ok with that
As the year goes on, guys like Larsson, Grigorenko, Armia, McNabb, etc should be given more responsibility... But it's prob best to ease most of those guys into it
Next year will likely be another rough one as far as the standings go... But I'm really excited to watch all this young talent

I like def ryan obryne.... from col now with tml... he is a big tough as nails guy that hits and blocls shots... his 6'5 240 lbs would be nice...

Clarkson could be but I doubt he picks to come here out of entire ufa market...

Smithson is a perfect 4th line center type who wins 58 percent faceoffs...

Fyi... hecht now has 12 pts this season and stafford has 13.. pathetic staff

Unless we draft Jones or can somehow get a legit "top pair" defenseman, I'd say go with what we've got...
I don't really see the point in bringing in a 4-5 type guy, bc that prob puts McNabb or Pysyk on the bench... And I'd rather let them play & grow together

And all of our top5 young centers have spent time as a winger, so we have really nice flexibility going forward
