I guess you enjoyed it when Chara almost killed paccioretty?
Emelin could have destroyed Lucic but went for a clean hit. The result? He might have hurt his knee real bad.

Settle down Stephanie, he'll be fine. Emelin plays on the edge, bound to take some bruises.

im not sure he'll be fine. we never know with knee injuries. Season could be over for him. Can we say the same thing for Bergeron?

Jesus ... this must be a really hard time for you ... what are you having a candle light vigil for him? It's hockey, people get hurt, sucks for them but they choose to do it.

At this point i would rather have the Bruins take the 4th seed. 1st round vs the Rangers is scary. Ill take Toronto/Ottowa at the 5th seed any day.

The Habs would be glad to face the Rangers, imo.

It was extremely frustrating to watch Juliens complete mismanagement of player personnel last night, mainly Jagr. I understand Seguin is not ready for the responsibilities of playing center and he was poor last night, but why should Jagr be the one to pay the price? You have a first ballot HOFer and you demote him to the 4th line because your center is not playing well? Peverley's game is really suffering right now and it seems no matter what line he plays on the line as a whole suffers. He was bumped up and nothing was working with him Seguin and Marchand.

Juliens unwillingness to stray from his plan/system is quiet annoying. I know he likes to role 4 lines and have balance throughout his forward groups but not playing Jagr in the Top 6 is idiotic. In his small sample size with Boston he has looked good and makes his linemates better. He sent Paille on a partial break last night for gods sake.

Tyler Seguin has to be one of the most overrated players in the league. Look at his production compared to the hype he gets. Kessel is in a slump yet is still producing more than him. Also Seguin has 4 empty net goals this year lol He gets to play with very good players like Bergeron and Marchand and yet can't produce. Keep this overrated bum, Phil the Thrill will always outscore him hahaha. And Kadri is better than Seguin too. Already outscoring him in hist 1st full season. Seguin hahahahahaha

With Crosby and Letang out, you have to give the edge to Mtl for the playoffs. There is no real team that we can't beat or fear to face in the playoffs. Maybe the worst would be Toronto as it would be a tough one physically.

three things i want to see from claude tonight...

1. redden replaces barfkowski.
2. kelly back. he should have been back saturdary. why travel with the franking team if you're not going to let him go?
3. flip jagr and horton. i'm sick of the 'top' line being invisible. why pick up jagr and put him on your bottom 2 lines when your top 2 lines suck???

Bruins were out hit, out shot, out coached, out played from start to finish in this game. The defense was bad, the offense was bad, the PP was an embarrassment from the moment Chara fell on the ice on purpose.

Yeah Jagr should be playing with Krejci, but how about the best players on the team start playing like it regardless of what the combinations are. Seguin and Marchand can't play well because Bergeron is not out there? There are plenty of teams across the NHL that have had to juggle lines this season and manage to produce more offense than hitting a skate and hitting someone's back over two games.

The past two games if nothing else have shown that without Bergeron this team is a mess and won't play like they are capable of, except for the goalies of course.

I agree, if Crosby and Letang are out Montreal is the best team in the east.

I don't understand how OTT loses Michalek, Spezza, Karlsson and Andersson to injury and they find ways to win, PIT loses Crosby and Letang...still winning.

I don't want to hear Bergeron is out so now blah blah blah. Where the (frank) is the guts on this puke fest of team? That's what they are lately...GUTLESS.

Julien had better be giving Thomas head for life because in my book, he was (frank)ing fired 2 years ago. You put Jagr on a grinder line? Seriously you fat (frank)?

Z sold it and it's embarassing, that said, not like it helped us anyways

Habs were the sharper, tougher, better team last night ... and that makes me nauseous.

Ice excuse is nonsense, Habs didn't have trouble passing tape to tape while the B's threw hand grenades all night.

I did enjoy watching Emelin bounce off of Looch after launching at him though ... so the night wasn't a total loss.

I agree with you. Chara sold it. It was embarrassing but hey, he decided to take the embarrassment to get his team a PP and a (expletive) chance of tying the game. He got us the 6-on-4 and we didn't seize the opportunity. Not a shot.

Who blames the ice?? omg.. you can see Jagr's maturity, saying both teams played on the same ice so ice is not an excuse. Be.a.man.

Jagr needs top line time. Bergeron needs to come back. Our forwards need to shoot more. This team, on paper, has all the tools to beat anyone. Let's get to work.

Krejci did. Jagr is a real Pro and a treat to watch, he definitely needs some help though. If Marchand can actually pull his head out of his ass I don't hate that combo with Campbell in there doing the mucking.

[quote=munky123]Julien has given the the team the room to find excuses instead of like you pointed out, looking at what they need to work on next game.

btw, how does someone with chara's stature fall like that? its almost impossible, well unless you tell yourself to fall...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qFfLe_bYVso

Give me a break. Wouldnt you think it would be harder to keep your balance on skates if you were 7'0 on ice? So, Tell me how his stature makes him immune to losing his balance when being pulled on while cutting.

Montreal fans would female dog and moan on the one penalty they get called for.

- Mahewman

why do we do this? chara dove. montreal players dive sometimes. all players from every team dive. time to stop listening to what Felger says.

Yeesh ... you're trying awfully hard aren't you? Something about "protesting too much"?

FWIW Seguin has better numbers through his first 190 games than Kessel did ... all while not being a huge turd.

Still wouldn't trade Seguin/Hamilton/Knight for Kessel/Kadri ... nevermind Kessel alone.

he was on a top two line. they went out and turned the puck over in their own end every chance they got and voila, bottom 2.

I don't hate Marchand/Campbell/Jagr, but just in these past two games it looks to me like Jagr and Krejci play styles that would benefit Jagr. I think everyone on the planet feels like Krejci and Jagr would fit together better than other combinations. I just wish I could understand why Claude doesn't think they fit together, I don't even have a guess as to why.
