In all seriousness though, the team hasn't been playing that poorly since Kovy's been out, we've lost a bunch of close games, two in a SO. Unfortunately it's the point where playing well but not winning doesn't matter.

NJ has played the same style since they had Brodeur. A few minor changes but it's always a defense first system. Boring hockey. They have been fortunate to draft well over the years but lately they haven't.
