Man leafs might make the playoffs for the first time in like, a decade and fans don't know how to act...we can lose and we'll be ok, we can miss the playoffs cause us missing the playoffs is an anomaly, the leafs MAKING the playoffs is also an anomaly. Typical outsider assuming everyone on the Devils is 40 years old. Kovy is 29, Zajac 27, Henrique 23, Loktionov 22, Clarkson 29. Our D is pretty old but we have several solid D prospect (Larsson, Merrill, Gelanis). Don't judge our team's age just by our goalies.

And you guys should understand our plight! Great start, and then slowly crumbling out of the playoff picture...hasn't that been the story of the Maple Leafs for the last 5 years or so?

Im not judging by the goalie, Brodeur is still an NHL goalie. The fact that no one can step up and pick up the slack left by Kovalchuk is a sign of a weak system.
