Dupuis wasn't going after Del Zotto on that icing call? Sorry, I forgot which fan base I was trying to reason with, your guys can do no wrong.
You also think Matt Cooke is just an agitator and not a complete piece of garbage too, right? - MidnightMarauder
Matt Cooke is awesome son!!! Oh right Ranger fans only remember stuff from 5 years ago. |

couldnt happen to a better person, neal is as dirty as they come..karma - mydoglicks
James Neil or Chris Neil...?
James Neil is not as dirty as they come IMO...every team in the league has a dirtier player on their team ( or should have ) |

Not for the last little while anyways...he used to be a big piece of poop and has gotten better ( he knew he was a big piece of poop too!!! )...I know Ottawa CSI will find him to be guilty..but I think it would be pretty odd for a hockey player to try and slice somebody open on purpose, again IMO. - Garnie
Cooke is scum, he isn't head hunting like in the days of yore, but he is still a gutless dirtbag who hides behind his teammates. |

A penalty should have been called on the ice. But, the on ice guys are so horribly inconsitent that we wind up talking about Shanahan cleaning up their mess. Now, a borrowed thought on this:
Kevin Paul Dupont‏@GlobeKPD: The Ouija Board. Signs long-term contract to sponsor NHL supplemental discipline. Maker of Magic 8 Ball considers restraining order.

Dude is dirty and it is a shame too because he actually can be a good hockey player, when he isn't too busy talking sh!t and slashing goalies. |

He doesn't play with the same edge any more...so I'm not sure what you mean, there are tons of guys in the league that play similar or worse...Kaleta for 1 - well maybe not tons but more!!!! |

Schenn, Coots, Hartnell, Rinaldo. Give it a rest loser. - Sell My Monkey
Hey...I think all of these guys you mentioned from the Flyers are mis-represented entirely. This is a clean bunch of guys.
I hear they are having a 'tea party' after the game today.
Seriously...EVERY team has a few players (at least) that do things other fans find upsetting. It's part of the game.
Calling someone else's players worse than yours is like saying their warts are uglier than yours are. |

Wow, the Flyers finally reach .500 and all the trolls come out of the wood work. For people who say that Sidney "Crysby" complains a lot, they sure whine like little girls. |

Last night was a good indication that he still plays with that edge. There are other dirty players in the league, without question, but he is not as reformed as many claim he has been. He was completely out of control, a few seasons ago, so anything other than what he did than, is reformed I suppose. |

Nice shot....a little taste of his own medicine for Neal. He's got more coming, too.

I usually agree with ek on things like this... but he threw his elbow back to try and hit Neal. So I don't see how it is not a suspension. It was irresponsible and dangerous. I'm not a fan of the Pens in any way shape or form. But that was a bad call not giving Del Zotto something. |

Wanna revisit that statement? Cooke wanted no part of Nash while both were on the ice. Cooke is a punk, was with Vancouver, Washington and Pittsburgh. He is a very dishonorable player, you just refuse to acknowledge it because he is one yours. |

Nice photo, that is something any Pens teammate would do, if an opposing player was talking trash to Crosby or Malkin.
See Nash smiling? Think anyone takes Cooke seriously outside of your fan base? |

When looking at the play with only considering what, and how, the NHL (Shanaban) has been calling things of late, yes it deserves either a fine or suspension.
But if this were the NHL in the 80's-90's, no, it's just a clear elbowing call. Maybe a 5-minute major elbow if you want to stretch things, but no suspension or fine. |

Yup he's scared of Cooke no doubt.
Maybe he saw him sharpening his skates? |
|

Didn't see it yet but since it's a NYR I'd say it's unlikely the NHL would suspend him. The NYR's have recieved the least man games lost due to suspensions in the last 20 years. |
