It's sad because the Flames used to be huge rivals. It's been a few years since you guys have been of the same calibre as the Canucks. My brother-in-law has season tickets for the Flames, but he hasn't been up to making any wagers for quite a while now.

Similarly, Colorado owned us when Sakic was playing, but since he retired, the Avs aren't much of an opponent.

I just can't see Calgary getting anywhere near contender status for many years to come. Agreed, that is sad.

Feaster might get stick for being a poor trader but the Avs under Sherman have made some spectacularly bad trade decisions. I can't imagine the owner rolling with the same setup (from GM to coach) to start the next season.

Yeah I agree , I live in BC so the flames Canucks playoff series were tough on me , very little support haha , but your right things seem to go in cycles .... Glad to see minny not in our division anymore ... They will be really good as long as they have a goalie , still not sold on the oil being great until they get some D and a goalie ( maybe dubnyk is I dunno yet ) and you would think the Avs gotta get better soon ... Hopefully feaster doesn't get any dumb ideas to speed this thing up but I fear he has some bone head move at the draft prepared .... Man Cory has been great tonight
