Having him in the dots will help too

For sure many defensive zone draws, Lappy for others. Also has a nice wrist shot with enough space, could help the pp.

no that's totally different , but he was bashing on the flames play after a game where they were the better team on the ice.... I don't see how you can rip on there play tonight .... most games this year is another story tho
- Redmile247

Dude, it's still a rivalry. Can't let things get all sentimental on game night.

No arguement that Canucks were out played... if this was normal circumstances and if the best team that night should have won.. it would have been calgary. Thats how it goes though.

He needs someone to pass off to and then get open , after his 40 goal season I noticed other teams would take away his space a lot sooner then previous and if he had a good play maker with him to dish off to that could give him his open ice again

It actually is ideal right now for this to happen ... Play a good game ... Lose ... Get some kids up ... Get a decent pick

Burrows will help in that regard. Kesler's primary job will be to play agains Toews, Getzlaf, etc. I'd like Burrows on his wing against those lines. The truth is the twins need to find a new linemate, hopefully Kassian.

AV probably won't give Kassian that kind of ice time tho ... But in the playoffs he could Definetelly jump on that line from time to time ... What about Hansen with the twins ?

Even Lapierre might get some time with them. That's what I love about playoffs is line matching throughout a series. It really depends on the competition. In terms of talent this is the probably the deepest team we've ever had, and we have experience. It's the playoffs though, anything can happen.

It will be nice not going in as the top seed.

I'm not. Teams out there give us trouble, others are inspired. Anaheim would be a nice matchup I think but doesn't look likely. I hated the Kings last year, but the makeup of both teams has changed. Chicago is well Chicago, Toews is as good a player as anyone not named Crosby.

Every series in round one could be great , I love round one , weekends are full of hockey , I do wonder if ducks depth will be challenged in playoffs , plus their goalie lacks experience

Taking the current top 8, I'd back us outright against any of MIN, SJ, DET. STL and ANA have always posed match-up issues for us but I think when healthy we're the better team. CHI is a great rivalry but they're currently at the peak of their game. And LA is a tough opponent but I honestly believe that VAN and CHI pose the biggest issues for them.

I'd pick MIN personally.

Really hard to get a good temperature of the Canucks tonight. Calgary was playing like idiots.

BUT ---- can anyone tell Kassian that the other teams will always try to fight him of the Canucks score early as it messes up the line rotation and hurts the Canucks.

Just listening to CKNW Sportstalk.... Boy of boy Brooke Ward is a total ass.

His assessment was that Vancouver was Lucky to win, played awful, were by far the worst team on the ice and only won due to CS.

BROOK! When you are THAT negative your agenda comes out too much. It's one thing to be too homer on the station that caries the team but by going so negative you lose all credibility!

Hard to disagree with Hawks, Kings, Pens. Rags have Henrik.

Boston ? Not so sure. Losing Bergeron would be huge.

Boston is good but overrated in the regular season. If they can manipulate the refs... who knows....
