Here's the problem....

I read the Flyers board regularly, and there's no other fan base that enjoys injuries (especially to Pens players) like a large percentage of the posters over there. Not everyone of course, but more than enough to realize you would be better served throwing around your indignant attitude on the flyers board. Some of the stuff I read after Crosby took a puck to the face was absolutely disturbing, but strangely enough, I didn't see you or anyone else trying to set things strait. I actually read one of your mods make some pretty classless comments about Lupuls concussion.

Let me say it again, there's also no other fan base on this site that routes for injuries and delights when they happen more than Flyers fans.

Every team over the course a season will have players make dumb decisions or reckless plays.

A suspension for the MDZ hit would be a joke. Neal made a dumb play, not pursuing the puck but electing to skate into MDZ's elbow.

The boarding hits, hits to the head when a player has his head down, etc.... these are the plays that are a bigger concern.

With how Ovi and the Caps are playing, I thought that they might be a darkhorse playoff team, until I saw this:

The Caps have zero regulation wins against current playoff teams. 11 losses, 1 OT win and 2 S/O win.

Ouch... the Southleast indeed.

I don't think the Caps are necessarily built for a deep run, but they are certainly dangerous with Ovechkin/Backstrom/Green clicking like they have been the past couple of weeks. Just hope they pull out the division so we get a chance to see how they fare in the playoffs.

You guys will take that division IMO, the only thing that may keep it from happening is that the Jets have a slightly easier schedule from here forward. But OV and Backstrom are playing like their old selves

Yeah, tomorrow will be a good test for them. If they struggle with the Habs it will only re-enforce the "Southleast" division thing. They need to keep winning, because as inconsistent as the Jets have been, they have I think 6 of their last 8 at home.

I am of the mind....and I know this has been a debate before....but I see Letang as more valuable to this team than 71. Not saying he is a better player than 71, just for this team he makes things gel with his breakouts and speed and overall talent.
