Ask Giroux what? If he embellished? - Oneonta Penguin
I'm curious...what did he embellish, in your opinion? All I see is an attempt by Malkin to throw an elbow at Giroux's head and Giroux ducked away from it. |

Classy, hoping a guy tears his ACL.
I believe his point was, Neal has taken some cheap shots of his own.
Anyway, how's Karlsson doing? And Savard, how'd his career go after Cooke went head-hunting?
edit: if Schenn is "dirty", wtf does that make Cooke? - wolfhounds
The only people that don't have any idea what I was talking about are children less than eight or idiots. It's not difficult to see which path I was taking. A Flyer fan says its karma for Neal, who had some rough moments in last year's series - almost like he deserved it. Well, Shenn took liberties as well. He is a dirty player. Would it not be karma to have him tear an ACL after his escapades in playing the Flying Nun and intentionally injuring Martin last year? Don't say it wasn't intentional. Every time he leaves his feet on a check, which is 95% of the time, its illegal and he does it on purpose.
Matt Cooke didn't deliberately injure Karlsson.. Anyone with a hockey IQ knows this. You don't have a hockey IQ. Kids in the Maldive Islands have a higher one than you do.
Which group do you fit within - the child or the idiot. Your choice. |

I vote the latter!! This guy is one of those who likes to point fingers and give one sided responses. I usually get sucked into it
then I realize who it is and let it go. |

Exactly ... if it were Matt Cooke, he should be suspended, but guys like MDZ or Nash shouldn't get anything. Well, we know Shanahan's stance on Nash already and his hit was more deliberate than Lupul's was. - Oneonta Penguin
It's funny how Pens fans call out other teams getting favoritism!!
That makes me laugh everytime I read it. |

I don't think you typed that correctly. My response to the way you wrote that would be why wouldn't we call out other teams getting favoritism? |

Team favoritism as far as disciple doesn't exist in the NHL, just incompetence and inconsistency. |

Bennett recalled from WBS.
I wonder how much of is has to do with a roster expansion and how much of it has to do with Crosby/Neal. Probably a bit of both. |

Bylsma was on record stating that he would be back up after roster expansion. The call up is just earlier than planned due to Neal injury. Hoping the Sabres can handle business for us tonight so that we can clinch the division and allow our wounded more time to heal. |

Sounds good to me. Just got back in town after a weekend in Clarion, PA visiting my best friend. Very exciting finish to the last game and MAF was unbelieveable. Hope Neal is OK soon. Too many injuries guys. Gonna be tough for this team to gel in time for the playoffs. Would like to see Iggy pin guys on boards more to free things up and they had some chances. |

I wonder if Bennett is going to help that line. Would be interesting if he helped get some chemistry with Iggy and Malkin going.
And don't look now but Fleury is .918 with a 2.28 GAA. His best stat line since 2007-8 when he would have won the Conn Smythe had we won. |

Clinched a spot tonight!
Sucks to have all these injuries, but nice to be able to basically rest those guys for a month. |

no update on Neal i'm assuming. Letang should be back in the next few games, they originally said 7-10 days.
Crosby is probably the one that will get the rest the longest. probably be back in a week or so.
any news on Martin? some said he'll be back for the first round, others said he'll miss the first round. would be huge to have him going into the playoffs. |

Yeah, because the two choices you give are the only ones available...because you're the master of logic and deduction.
Arrogant much?
Sorry, that's redundant.
Regardless, you hoped Schenn tore his ACL. That makes you pathetic.
You addressed Karlsson with your subjective (look it up) interpretation, but I noticed you didn't mention Savard. How disingenuous (look it up) of you, but I'm not surprised.
The child, the idiot, doesn't matter, still better than you.
And again, since you missed it the first time, if Schenn is dirty, wtf does that make Cooke? |

No Penguins poster has ever said that Cooke isn't dirty. We just don't need the constant reminders from enlightened folks like yourself. |

I apologize.
Oneonta wishing injury upon Schenn - regardless of his lame ass reasons - set me off.
And his arrogance makes it worse. |

Every team over the course a season will have players make dumb decisions or reckless plays.
A suspension for the MDZ hit would be a joke. Neal made a dumb play, not pursuing the puck but electing to skate into MDZ's elbow.
The boarding hits, hits to the head when a player has his head down, etc.... these are the plays that are a bigger concern.

With how Ovi and the Caps are playing, I thought that they might be a darkhorse playoff team, until I saw this:
The Caps have zero regulation wins against current playoff teams. 11 losses, 1 OT win and 2 S/O win.
Ouch... the Southleast indeed. |

Pens clinched a playoff spot last night.. Doesn't seem like a big deal this point, but 10 years ago, it didn't seem all that trivial. |

Caps and more specifically OV and Backstrom are on fire right now, better that they win their division then having us see them at the 7 or 8 spot. They scare me at the moment |
