he needs weight, which is easy to come by. - Putzfrau
He's an inch taller than Sekera and weighs 8 lbs less. He could use a little more weight, but overall, he's not what I would consider small. |

i agree completely.
if he could be up around 200 pounds maybe a little more depending on how it affected his skating, it would be perfect. |

I would be more concerned about it if he was at like 170. Then it would be a major issue. 8ish or so pounds is not exactly a big deal. I do agree that 200 would be ideal. He could probably use a bit more muscle. But I wouldn't want it to come at the expense of his skating either. |

Yeah putting on 10 or so pounds in his core and legs shouldn't effect his skating, could improve it. I know what you're saying though, don't want him to become a beefcake. |

Part of what makes him so good is his skating. He's a really smooth, effortless skater. Too much added weight can cause issues with that.
I get the feeling that two years down the road he's going to be logging big minutes. Like 23-25 minutes a night. His skating ability is what will enable him to do that. |

Yeah he is a great skater. Wouldn't it be great if one of these younger D could go for half a game and be strong defensively? Would have a huge effect on our team overall. |

I usually just go right to nhl.com. You'll get varying reports in general, so if you stick to one it makes it easier.
And at this point, I don't care if he's 5'0". If he's playing good, it should make no difference. |

Just eliminate a few of them, mainly Hecht and that will be a big improvement. Those youngsters aren't lazy.

Yeah. It would be nice. I was trying to find the ice time stats for the AHL, but couldn't find anything. I was curious as to how much time he was getting on average down there. |
