ADAM nice goal, nice positioning.

I'm surprised he was so wide open. Not like Ottawa to let that happen.

I like Ott having an A. I think Stafford's should be stripped from his sweater. I wouldn't want either of them with the C.
- HonkFortheGoose

I wouldn't mind Ott with a C if he signs an extension with the team. Who would you like for the C?

I was laughing at the color guy saying the only reason that shot went in was because the goalie was bumped earlier on the play and it upset him...

Edit: Adam still sucks.

First chance to really see Pysyk and he looks really good, seems really steady, not too flashy, just seems to take care of the puck, passes well and skates well

They can't lose playing this way. Darn Adam.

On a bright note, good for Luke Adam.

Yet he was in all these armchair gm's trade proposals.

I wouldn't name anyone the Captain until partway into next season at the earliest. I don't like Ott having the C because the refs don't respect him at all. You need the Captain to be able to talk to the refs.

I think there are a few young guys that could end up getting at some point, but I don't know that any of them are quite ready for it yet either.

There's no reason to name one just to name one. Do it because it's the right guy. Not because you think there should be one.

It's usually the people who haven't seen the guys play that want to "throw them in" on trade proposals. They figure because he was a 1st round pick he has to get something decent in return.

I didn't think they'd trade him because he's a right handed shot and the defense was seriously lacking in that department.

No, no. Let's not even say such a thing. Otherwise we lose out shot at Jones, MacKinnon, or Drouin

One of the good things that can happen when you don't float so close to the net, the D give you a little more space bc they don't see you as much of a threat.

Especially over the past 12 months or so. He's been a throw in on trades for a while.

I've seen some bad plays by him but he usually seems to recover. Good so far, a little on the small side.

Well there is a reason we are not GM's or they are, we are nowhere near as smart as Regier

I guess I am just used to seeing our D-men, fumble the puck, not be able to pass are slow and un-able to cover someone, he seems to be able to do those things. A little small, but not Gerbe small, so I reckon he could turn out pretty good.

he needs weight, which is easy to come by.

he's plenty tall, just a tad on the skinny size. depending on where you look he's between 180 and 190 for 6-1

6' isn't big for a defenseman. No he isn't tiny, just saying he's on the small side for a defensemen. Could put some weight on, get up to like 200 like Sekera (Same height).

Edit: I am 6'3'' 220 so a lot of people seem small to me. 5'10'' seems like a child to me, I met Gerbe and was like dafuq.
