i would assume being an nhl defensemen that's spent 30+ games in the minors with a goal of playing in the nhl again regularly would be a huge motivation for him.

Main point here is that your squad isn't better than ours. We actually are a better team than the flyers. Sorry, bro. The reason we have such a poop record is because of the southeast division, against the ATL and the NE we have winning records, against the SE baffiligngly we lose on the regular.

The flyers are worse off in the short term and in the long term compared to the sabres, get a grip.

Cool. You may end up with a better conference position, doesn't mean you are a better squad. I would take the Sabres chances over the Flyers in a 7 game series all day and bet big money.

Not everyone did but I understood.
I paid close attention to Weber because his skating stood out to me and the strides he had made with it.
In camp I watched Pardy intently because he was new and very aggressive even on his team mates in drills in practice which I liked very much. Some of his team mates didn't like it but I know I did.
