You also said there was no way they would move any of the big 3 the other day. Then they did.
- HonkFortheGoose

Why would Ott stay here for a rebuild, he's 30. I have to say what I said, if I say different some on here start a holy war.

they need to ship staff out, and get two wingers to play on the top two lines
they also need a legit top d man

otherwise no sense in bringing in any player over the age of 26 and let the rebuild begin IMO

Don't worry he has fooled many people, he literally skated straight at the goalie before, didn't even try to shoot.

Why are we winning these games? Makes no sense.

Does anyone know if Foligno is hurt or benched? Don't think I've seen him on the ice in awhile.

Horton is 27 and if you keep shipping out guys, players like Ott will want out as well.

The Hecht signing was a Lindy move. What I heard was Lindy went to Darcy during a meeting and stated that they needed more depth. Darcy asked what he was thinking and Lindy said, Jochen is playing pretty well in Germany...and he was singed in the next couple days.

Ott is a goner as well, no way he stays here with even more of our top players leaving.
- SABRES 89

ESP bc I can't imagine any team out there that wouldn't want him...
We do have some "Ott-like" guys in the pipeline
I really like Catenacci, and Tropp can be that kinda guy IMO too

Tough to find a FA under 26. 30 is fine for a short-term deal.

I could see them resigning him for another year. Not saying I agree with it, I just could see it.

I know they said Knapp was going to be a project. In a way, I hate that Leggio was resigned in Rochester. He's preventing the guys they've drafted from being able to play and develop.
- HonkFortheGoose

Thats kinda what I'm saying,
And a constant mistake of this organization IMO
Playing guys that don't have a future over guys that COuLD be the future...
Well, I just can't comprehend that line of thought

if they are not going to ice a team to compete for the cup next season, makes no sense

Homer mentioned they don't think much of Catenacci I believe, I pretty sure he said Catenacci. I'm not a fan of Tropp.
