The Penguins enter tonight’s game having lost back-to-back games for only the fourth time this season. Pittsburgh is a combined 26-2 in games immediately following consecutive losses this year – that number includes Pittsburgh’s recent 15-game winning streak.

Brenden Morrow leads all the Penguins with four hits after one period of play. Since joining the team, Morrow leads all Penguins forwards with 17 hits (6 games).

Newly acquired forward Jussi Jokinen made his Penguins debut tonight. In 33 games this season, Jokinen has 11 points (6G-5A) and is 168-115 on draws (59.4%). Through one period, Jokinen is 2-1 (67%) on draws in 4:28 minutes played.

Entering tonight’s game, the Penguins have five different players with double-digit goal totals (Chris Kunitz, 20; James Neal, 18; Pascal Dupuis, 18; Sidney Crosby, 15; and Jarome Iginla, 10). Pittsburgh is one of only four teams in the NHL to have five double-digit goals scorers on its team (Anaheim, Montreal and Boston).
