IMO its. I different than a scorer looking to the sky when he misses a shot or the other goalie makes a great save. Emotions are invested
- Just5

Looking to the sky = "I should have had that."

Shrugging and holding your arms out = "Jeez, I would have had that, but your asses were in the way."

It's not like this is the first time he's done that kind of thing. He's thrown his dmen under the bus before while in Philly, and we know that some of his dmen in Phoenix weren't exactly weeping when he left to sign here. It just fits in to the overarching narrative that he's pretty moody, self-absorbed, and generally kooky.

I agree with this. I don't think it's in anyway to disrespect teamates

I hate reading body language, because the perception can easy lead to conclusions.
That said, Bryzgalov is making me feel like Roman Cechmanek, circa 2003 playoffs. On night(like against Boston) he's stellar. The next pedestrian. He's got to be better for the level of commitment the organization has put in him.

Intentional or not(and lets be honest, it was)... that's a goal you take back. Maybe the Philly feed didn't show it clearly, but the Toronto one did.

I don't think many Leaf fans think the hit on Lupul was dirty.

- Feeling Glucky?

If he reaches out with his arm, grabs Reimer's stick, then sure. You can say he did it intentionally. He skated out from behind the net, and Reimer' stick got clipped by Hall's arm, which was tucked, in a normal stick-holding position. But who cares right, the call went against the Leafs so it's a conspiracy.

Leafs fans acting like they're the only team that gets bad calls go against them.

I try not to read too much into the body language. That said, I might raise an eyebrow if it were some other player. I think it'd be silly to include a gesture in an argument against his level of commitment, though. If anything, I'd sooner question a lack of visible emotional investment with this player in particular.

I've also seen him appreciatively pat Grossmann on the shoulder after blocking a shot. As well as players go out of their way to tap him on the pads...
I think this is blown out of proportion.

I gotta try this at work! I cracked up when I read it cuz I could see Bryz saying it...

I'm a lot more worried about the stopping of goals than if teammates like him. They don't need to like him, they need to play the game and he needs top stop the puck.

So are you starting to lean more towards the buyout at this point even if it is in the summer of 2014? Next years artificial cap drop has me worried for the free cap space we'll need to address some of our defensive deficiencies.

And I loved regular season Roman Chechmanek.
