We are missing the big news of the day...Justin Kea is on his way to Rochester. Time for him to learn the pro game. He might be here sooner than we thought!!
- Stripes77

Don't Forget about Daniel Catenacci . Our third round pick from 2011 is turning into a beast and leading Owen sound into their next round of the OHL playoffs . He will be in Rochester soon as well . The word is he is really becoming a really good 2 way player.

He has to play in the OHL next year.
- toddkac

He's still going to get valuable experience being with Rochester for the playoff run though.

It's a good sign that they even wanted him to do that now.

Most people here will hate him regardless of his skill (his size being the deterring factor)

wouldn't say they were losers . They had a good run .. better at times than half the other teams . They know their time is done , and time to hand it over to a new crop.
THey didn't win a cup but came close a couple times . can't knock them for that . If it was that easy to build a team don't ya think every other team would be doing it ?

pretty much. that guy on the tape today taking to ted black really pissed black off and for good reason. he took the exact opposite approach as to what you just typed to make the same point. honestly, if ted black wasn't so good at recovering, although he was clearly frustrated beyond belief, i could have seen him have a mike schopp-like explosion on the guy (this comes from a schopp supporter who doesn't always like when he flies off the deep end).

people try things, people fail, that's life. pegula is still the owner and whatever he says goes, so i guess we'll just have to hope that they try better next time because we don't have too many options past that.

if anyone wants to give up going to games, by all means but being beyond pissed and sulking all of the time won't make the sabres better so i stopped doing it years ago myself.

I really like his game. His size may be his down fall though

My beagle could have scored that second goal and every saber fan with a bernier jersey agrees with you

5" 10 " 200 lbs , people have a problem with that ? He is still going to fill out ! Look at the improvement in his plus/minus this year . He is really working on his 2 way game

I believe that 5'10" height is a bit exaggerated.

Very exaggerated his is barely taller than Ennis. Unless he grew about 2 inches during the season

There were several people yesterday complaining about how we acquired yet another small player (larsson) who happens to be 5"10 and 200 lbs. I don't have a problem with him but most people will (especially after these last few years).

I was just looking at some stuff about Justin Kea, and I think he's going to be a similar style player as Foligno, but at the Center position. His numbers this year are very similar to Foligno's during his 2nd year in the OHL. It'll be interesting to see how he continues to develop.

I don't need a whole team of guys over 6'. It doesn't work out the best in terms of team speed. It's better to have a nice mix of guys IMO. Seemed like the Minnesota fans were pretty disappointed that Larsson got traded yesterday.

Also the 200 pounds isn't accurate unless he gained 25 pounds. If he did grow then I have no problem with his size. We shall see at rookie camp

Who the hell cares? If he's got the skill set we need I could care less about his height. I'll take 20 5"8 highly skilled players vs 20 6"3 220 lbs stiffs.

Think you meant to post catenacci no? Pretty sure everyone here can agree that Ennis is going to be really good. His middle name is Foster? I'm willing to be the guys in the locker room chirp him for that. Tyler Foster Ennis....just doesn't sound right

I bet Foster is his mom's maiden name. It happens pretty frequently.
