Sure, Ducks are going to trade their franchise defenseman.

- blacksheep1

That's my point exactly they don't have anything I want!
The trade I proposed was just as far fetched as yours. We don't need hiller!!!

Right, then Darcy can sign him. Giving the sabres the deepest center depth in the league. Then he can teach Ennis and Gerbe on the art of diving.
- blacksheep1

You will need to draft a center when your on the clock in 2015

I am the type of person who backs up what I say, I wouldn't be opening my big mouth like these two dopes if I failed so bad in the playoffs like they did. In fact all these core guys were losers, Roy was horrible in the playoffs except that one 5 pt game where Connolly was feeding him the puck, Pominville was terrible in except that one goal, Vanek 7 games -7 and 5 goals, Miller letting in weak shots from blueline. 6.3 mill for a goalie who can't even steal one single game, every time a shot goes in they say "he didn't have a chance, never saw it". Hasek stopped shots all the time that he didn't see, it's called being in the right spot at the right time.

Miller had two 1-0 shutouts against the Flyers 2 years ago. That's not stealing a game in the playoffs? I'd hate to see what the criteria is to qualifiy.

Vanek's big mouth? I get what you're saying with Miller, but Vanek is generally pretty quiet. He tends to keep to himself and doesn't say much most of the time.

As far as Vanek being hurt all the time, I'd like to see you go out and stand infront of the opposing teams goal and not get hurt. Between getting crosschecked constantly and hit by errant pucks, he's bound to end up with some sort of injury.

- HonkFortheGoose

Vanek needs to be in the slot with staff or foligno down low

I am shocked that our coaches still think the best shooter needs to be down low

Even Miller agrees Pommer shouldnt have been on the point on the PP, why did the coaches always feel that he shouldve been?

Because they're stupid. Pommer should have been on the half wall.

With a sub par defense also, imagine how good miller would be on a team like Boston that plays great team def. Wait eff that I hate Boston bad example

Washington is a more likely destination for miller. They really want a #1 goalie and we could take a draft pick+kuznetsov to play with grigorenko.

We are missing the big news of the day...Justin Kea is on his way to Rochester. Time for him to learn the pro game. He might be here sooner than we thought!!

Detroit or bust.....donĀ“t see it any other way. He is from there and even though Detroit moves to our division they have great prospects.

I think Washington is a great place to move him. I don't see us moving our franchise goalie to one of our soon to be division opponents especially with the new playoff format

I heard he had a pretty big year. Really jump up the charts developmentally.

I have heard that too. It must have been a bunch of pretty big steps because he looked out of place at rookie camp

wouldn't say they were losers . They had a good run .. better at times than half the other teams . They know their time is done , and time to hand it over to a new crop.
THey didn't win a cup but came close a couple times . can't knock them for that . If it was that easy to build a team don't ya think every other team would be doing it ?
