Watched parts of the game, flipped back and forth with the MIN-LA game. Seemed every time I watched Roy on the ice your team was generating some good pressure.

How'd he look tonight from your perspective?

I thought he looked great... and he'll look even better when he's playing with line mates who possess legit top 6 skillsets.

Just looked at the goalie stats for the season. Top 10 in save % in the NHL are almost all young guys. Youth movement in the NHL nets this season.

Except fo the guys that are 28 +, they are all young.

Cept:

Anderson - 31
Crawford - 28
Emery - 30
Niemi - 29
Halak - 27
Lunquist - 31

Part from these guys, they are all young..

Loved Kassians Bure attempt. LOL who else on the team would try that?

You have to take goalie stats with a grain of salt.

Kassian's play could very well determine how far this team goes. He was a beast tonight. However, it's only one game and we all know the knock on Kass. Hopefully the demotion was the kick in the ass he needs.

I watched his AHL game and he was a complete beast. By far the best player on the ice. Should have had 5 points with the passes he was making. He seemed to have carried it over into last night games. I have a feeling he'll continue with it. He needs to assert himself every shift and think of himself as a dominant player. That's when he's at his best. Willing to impose himself. I'm serious with this, but once he figures out the NHL and realizes his potential, we're going to have one hellll of a dominant player. I see him being a first line player here. We'll have to wait and see though.

He looked really good but seems to have the Buffalo syndrome When Kassian came here he was out of shape. Roy seemed to be sucking wind a lot. You can tell he's not up to Canucks standards. Do they even workout in Buffalo? Talk about a culture that needs a change. I realize he came over from Dallas but he spent his career in Buffalo. Hopefully he can improve it in time for playoffs.

The problem is the only place Kassian will fit is with Kesler. Maybe it works out, I hope it does. The lines when Kesler and Raymond get back should be fairly straightforward, for anyone other than AV.

Sedin Sedin Burrows
Raymond Kesler Kassian
Higgins Roy Hansen
Sestito Lapierre Pinnizotto

If Higgins and Kassian can keep it up, that's a lot more dangerous then it looked a month ago.

I wouldn't lump hugebich in with those other two. He may have a differing opinion than most Canucks fans, but he's respectful most of the time.

I'd switch Roy & Kesler's linemates if both are still playing center. Roy deserves better. Kesler will play the exact same game no matter who is on his wing.

That works too. I just liked how Roy's line was last night.

Higgins is one of the only guys who seems to play well with Kesler.

Totally agreed. Ideally I'd like to see AV try out something like a Higgins-Roy-Kesler prior to the playoffs but that's extremely unlikely so I'll settle for Raymond-Roy-Kassian and Higgins-Kesler-Hansen.

I haven't found that but I'm willing to give the benefit of doubt.
