As excited as I am, I don't expect them to make the playoffs.

STL is three times the team EDM is. Size, defence, depth. Goaltending has been shaky, but if it picks up, they'll be dangerous.

STL seems to be the only team EDM has a small chance of beating out for a playoff spot. I think it's pretty safe to say that CHI, ANA, MIN, VAN, SJ, LA, and maybe DET are all guaranteed to make the playoffs.

I watched last nights game at a bar in Palm Springs, CA. There were a few flames and you could obviously just see the "Rebuild" on their faces. The long road.

I love people who had Hall as the worst of Ebs, Nuge, and Yak. Only Stamkos and Crosby have a better PPG. If I hear another habs fan suggest Hall for a package centred around Tinordi, I'll kill myself.

If EDM makes the playoffs, I'll dance down the streets buck naked. They're playing phenomenally. Finishing 17th or 18th is a huge sep up from last year. I was expecting a 22nd place finish, so they're proving me wrong.
