can't wait till next year.

what wing is Boucher playing?

Zubrus-Loktionov-Kovalchuk
Elias-Zajac-Boucher
Sullivan-Henrique-Clarkson
Carter-Gionta-Bernier

I don't even know what to put for the D.
Clarkson is a 3rd liner. Thats all he ever will be. I wouldn't mind Matteau in the minors next year. I'm sure Sullivan will have enough for 1 more season. I like Sullivan. The dude can play. He was with Malkin and Neal during last season in Pittsburgh. 17g, 31. He's like another Whitney, Selanne. Not as skilled obviously, but is aging well.. a lot better than some players- Holik, Rolston, White, etc.

and the flyers are now 2pts behind us

why the (frank) cant we get 1 goal yes the bruins are a good ass fcking team but we should still be able to get 1 goal

i bet in the draft (if we dont forfeit the pick) we pick up another player that will have the same style as zubrus.......we need someone who can score, a scoring winger

- dmarsden2988

We will draft a defensmen similar to severson that will take eight years to develope and everyone will rave about it and say what a great job lou has done and he was a steal blah blah blah my rose coloured glasses are all the way off at this point

Legitimately this year has been all about injuries. What's our record when Marty and Kovy are both in? I believe it's very good.

That said, all teams have to deal with that. The Senators are the ultimate example of battling through injuries. We just keep finding a way to lose.

Their can still be hope for a really good pick and a better chance at winning the lottery again but wouldnt it have been nice to have wanted to tank a few days ago when we could of got some assests to put us right in the thick of things again maybe even as soon as next year like why we paid salvador and gave him three years for one playoff run is beyond me havent seen that guy from that years playoffs since well last years playoffs imagine what we fork over to clarkson and what we have already gave zajac the players will flock here cause they will know they can get over paid and it wont matter how they play because everything this organization takes into considerations is what you have done in the past

Isn't that how it's suppose to work? You don't pay someone for potential.

Well technically you pay them for the past but i mean did anyone really think sal was going to be what he was in the playoffs for us for another three years he should of got a one year deal at the dollars he wanted so when this season happens we xould renegotiate a new one who knows if clarkson will score twenty five again let alone thirty put he will get paid like a thirty goal guy elias i would love to see only get a one year deal he can have his six mil but one year i dont wanna be stuck with these old guys making more then what they are producing fir three years that does nothing for us especially if we need to try and move someone we would need to take alot less because of the money we gave them for two many years when they are already 36 and not getting any better

You guys are always so hard on clarkson. Two years ago you all wanted to trade him and then after last season everyone loved him and the beginning of the season as well. We're turning into a fan base like that of Montreal or Toronto. PLAYER (X) HAD A ROUGH PATCH TRADE HIM!1!1!!!1!!

edit: as much as I hate losing, I never lose faith in Lou.

Woah i loved clarkson before he scored thirty i have actually liked him less since he has he is a little nore skilled then steve ott and you dont see him going out of his way to score he still plays his role as agitator tough guy role player whatever clarky though has gone soft and things he is a big time player now he needs to go back to the fifteen goal guy that had no fear instead of this idiot who no longer knows his role because of a good season i just dont like the contracts going back tothe end of last year to long of term for a guy over thirty five hedberg also should od got one year then we throw the bank at zajac and he has been crap and next is clarkson or he will walk for nothing i mean we need to make smarter decisions going forward

I think him getting thirty was the worst thing that could happen because it leaves us three options two now that the deadline has passed we either over pay for him or lose him for nothing after he got thirty and was red hot the start of this season the best option we had was to give him to the highest bidder look what nsh got for erat clarkson likely could of got close to that from the right team with his value being so high now if he never got thirty goals we would just keep him and sign him for his 2.6 or whatever and he stays a fan favorite

Ugh another disappointing loss, good chances but no goals; SOS!
I'm pretty sure we're not making the playoffs this year, which is ok.
Too many injuries, too many line shufflings led to no consistency.

I'd like to see Urbom and Merril get a shot next year. I agree with the some of the others about Boucher; he should remain in Albany for most of the year unless he really tears it up down there.

Why would we over pay him if he continues to play like this? We all know what type of game Clarky plays best. I would imagine he's putting a lot of pressure on himself to score or make plays because we lost Parise. Maybe the coaching staff is putting pressure on him too. We know he's best on the third line and occasionally on the second. Just look at how often they use him in shootouts. It shows that they are expecting offense from him and that they are putting a lot of pressure on him.

We would over pay for him cause other teams might offer him more on the open market which is why we paid so much for zajac but i see what you are saying
