I think Ott deserves the A but here's a side issue. I know this may not mean much to most but is it disconcerting to anyone else that there is not one Rochester American among the top scorers list in the AHL? I realize Girgs got hurt and other prospects are in other leagues and whatnot I just find it problematic when we are said to have such a "bright future"

I think he'll be one of those under the radar guys who spends 2 or 3 years in the AHL then suddenly cracks the 3rd line and is a solid two way guy.

He's played enough games at both positions to technically be considered a C/W (kinda like Kane and Carter).

I'm really excited about Armia but I'm not sure they have him on the team next year. Even with Vanek and Stafford gone the top six will look something like:

Hodgson
Ennis
Grigorenko
Foligno

Gerbe (I would rather Armia here but I know the sabres won't do that)

I'd like all this but I'm not sure that Philly would do that deal (not saying it's bad value just that I'm not sure they would be willing to part with him).

On that note I've got something to say. On WGR this morning on Hockey Hotline, Kevin Sylvester opened the show with a three minute speech(backed up by Petey) on how sad he is that Pomminville, the person, is gone from Buffalo. Saying he was a great guy and interacted with all the support staff, knew everyone's names, remembered things about them and would ask how they were going.

That's great and Im sure its very true. Jason did seem like a great guy as a person and a player. But what did that mean to the fans? Jason doesn't know me. He doesn't ask how my kid is or how that home project worked out. All I get is a team in 26th place with no playoff series wins in 6 years. Im tired of being insulted by these insiders with unabated access to the team at a level I will never get, telling me what I should and shouldn't be happy with.

I agree, some things have to fall into place gerbe hecht staffords have to be gone.

In 2 years would like to see him come up play a lil on the 4th and be ready for the 3rd lone the following year

Translate Miller into a prospect and a pick, send Vanek to Philly for a 1rst and Couturier, move Staff for a Pick....use accumulated picks to trade up top 3 in the Draft and make this as quick a turnover as possible.

We have the picks, assets and Blue Chips to do this fast...

We need to change the Team culture and it requires a transfusion....anything else simply prolongs the Agony....

I have no problem with any of this. We may also need to move Ott. I know many will not like this, but his he really going to want to play here with all our top end talent gone? The UFA list is pretty thin this year, looks like a real youth movement
