What would it take for the panthers to get him this summer lol?

I was thinking today about the draft and how this new draft lottery could hurt other teams. Say we are in a top 3 spot and we Dont win the lottery and someone below us does. That team now drafts 1st and It would push us out of the top 3. Not that there is no talent outside of it but still it definately will effect more teams than in the past. Just a thought

At Sabres today. Vanek asked if what Darcy said yesterday about rebuilding changes his mind regarding his future as Sabre: "Probably."

Thomas Vanek on Sabres: "We'll finish the year out and I’m sure at least I would expect them to let me know what the future is with myself."

Top 2 pick (Mackinnon /jones ) i wouldn't but picks 3-5 i would! He rly looks awesome!

if we get rid of him and Miller there is NO ONE left from those 'good old days' teams.....

I think Ott deserves the A but here's a side issue. I know this may not mean much to most but is it disconcerting to anyone else that there is not one Rochester American among the top scorers list in the AHL? I realize Girgs got hurt and other prospects are in other leagues and whatnot I just find it problematic when we are said to have such a "bright future"

I dont think Girgs would of been a top prospect in the AHL yet. He moved a little to fast to go there. Though I think the potential is there. I just dont think this year he woulda be in the list.

interesting if Darcy took him off the table or his price was too steep...

based on Vanek's comments he wants out of Buffalo
