Yea I know. Kane was a clear cut #1 better skater too. Maybe down the road those comparisons could be correct - MCGUIZZY
From what I heard the top 3 and even Barkov would have been clear cut number 1's the past couple years. That's what gets me so excited about this years draft. Its loaded. |

Yeah, and that was it. There wasn't a real KHL risk with Grigo. Hell, the guy spent a few hours a day learning English to prove people wrong. If Grigo dropped 10 spots because he was sick, poor Nichuskin is going to PLUMMET. |

I would target Andre Burakovsky then - Mentalorgasm5
Depends where Minnesotas pick falls. They drop out first round, pick around 18-22, Lazar, Burakovsky, or Erne are all good picks at that point. Lots of good offensive talent and the D seems lacking, unlike last year. Could be a reverse of last year with teams reaching for forwards and leaving some good defensemen like Nurse until 12-15. Would need to trade up to get him but with all of our picks wouldnt be impossible.
2nd round I want Duclair. Grigos linemate in Quebec. Would be nice to have instant chemistry. |

exactly what I was thinking, man if he starts falling and we pair Minnys 1st with the blues second to grab him, that would be amazing. |

i really like him. i think we can't go wrong if we pick top 5 but he would be the guy i would pick if he's available still. tough choices but hopefully they make a good one. |

Tank hard enough this year and you'll get that top pick without having to trade anything. Plus we could always trade some picks for the 2014 draft. 3 2nd rounders. |

2014 draft isnt as great a year out as this one was. Altough getting Ekbald next year would be sweet. All these assests are free to be moved |

plus Tarasenko fell a few years back, which was a joke, since he wanted no part with the KHL. With Nichushkin signing the KHL good chance he falls. Look at Kuznetsov, he might be the best prospect right now, and he keeps staying in the K. |

doesn't that go against the whole rebuilding thing? Nobody's going to trade a young roster player with potential for a 1st round pick. It's counteractive for both teams. |

First of all Darcy avoided the rebuilding idea. No one ever said rebuild. Second It wasnt necessarily just the 1st pick we could or would be trading. It could be used in a package to get a good player. Similar to the pomminville trade just wed want a younger player. (Bobby Ryan?) |

10 pts in 38 games played is kind of wierd for how much of a following he has. |

Miller's job is to stop pucks not be "in the loop" or to know what Darcy is going to do. He's a player not a manager. If he would worry more about his job, maybe Buffalo would be in a better position. He always has to be out spoken and act like he is suppose to be kept up to speed. I am so sick of these overpaid players spouting out. Shut up and play! |

If you can somehow get Florida, Tampa, Colorado, or Cargary to give up a top 3 pick, then I want you as GM right now. I just don't think teams give those up. Maybe Calgary because it seems they're always doing that sort of thing, but the asking price would be phenomenal. |
