Maybe, just maybe, Paul Holmgren and his staff know what they're doing.

Usually I post Twitter updates but I'll post Leafs thread highlights.

"Don't forget Hall's deliberate head butt on Lupul... he might have just become the most hated player for me outside of the Habs... dirty boy..."

"Apart from those pesky Flyers. Missed trips, hits to the head and now Hall swinging off Reimer's stick... its very poopty officiating"

"He grabbed the stick and skated while holding it with the ref looking right at it."

Man the Leafs board is like 28 clones of 2Real!

I thought our fans cried about everything.

would love to see them come out and dictate play in the third instead of sitting back with the lead
- dillpx183

I wouldnt be suprised to see the Leafs get one more.

They will probably buckle, but lets see if they break.

Both Flyers goals in that period were the result of solid positioning by the 3rd forward. Schenn is in good position to breakup a pass on the breakout by the Leafs, resulting in a turnover, and a goal. Same with Couturier, high in the zone in good position. Errant pass, turnover, shot on net with traffic in front. Another goal. I give Laviolette credit for the changes he has made. But what took him so long!

Lavi and his Flyers are true Globetrotters: they save their best moves for the last quarter.

I don't care what the reason is. This is the way they should've been playing all year.
- MJL

Yeah but Mez, Coburn and Briere can't get it done with this particular set of players. They play much better without them.

Really love seeing Coots play better out there. Seems to have some of his confidence back, I am really happy they got some fire in their ass instead of just waiting for the year to end.

Good for the kids.

Again... he`s 20.. work in progress, but I am excited to see him play better as well.. He`s gonna be great... that`s wht every GM wanted him, and why we didn`t trade him..

Disagree completely that they can't get it done with those players. They'd surely be better with Coburn and a healthy Meszaros on the back end. Especially playing the style they're playing.

One of the biggest things is they have started scoring more.

I remember so many games where if they got 2 goals, you had to pray for a 3rd.

The better defensive play, is why they're scoring more.

Agreed, but I'm pleasantly suprised how the 6 d-men are playing as a unit. Gervais has really stepped up his game. Gus and Oliver contributing.

Solid D, tenacity on the puck, and a VERY good PP.. the way they were moving the puck in the first was awesome..very confident.

Rosehill now gets the 4th goal hahah
